At Watson’s Plumbing, Heating, & Building Services, we’re proud to provide the services you need to keep your home or building safe and comfortable. This also means that we can help you with obtaining the inspections you need to keep your building compliant with Local Law 152. Because we are licensed and insured, we are eligible to perform the necessary inspections and provide the reports you need to avoid any potential noncompliance or fines. If you’re in one of the districts that needs an inspection, or you want to be proactive about your inspection, contact us today to get started! We’ll send you a questionnaire about your building for you to complete, which will help us put together a pricing estimate for your specific needs.
Inspection Process
Once you’ve let us know you’re interested in an inspection, we’ll send you a questionnaire to fill out. With the information from your questionnaire, we will provide pricing information and then work with you to set up an appointment time.
Once your inspection has been performed and completed, we will submit a GPS 1 and GPS 2 to you or the building owner within 30 days of the inspection date. After this, the building owner will need to submit this information to the DOB. The deadline for this submission is 60 days from the inspection date.
If, by chance, the building owner does not file within 60 days, the inspection must be performed again, so try not to miss the deadline!
Failure to file your Inspection Certification before your Community District deadline could be very costly, incurring up to a $10,000 civic penalty. We’d like to help you avoid any penalties, so get started with Watson’s today to obtain your compliance inspection!
